Creator Name John William Kimber
Admin History John William Kimber was the Superintendant of Fleming Gymnasium. He previously served in the Royal Navy before training as a PT instructor in Portsmouth then came to Dundee 1905. Kimber enlisted in 4th Black Watch during the Great War. He used Fleming Gymnasium for soldiers' training. In 1915 Kimber went to training camps then became an instructor at Northern Command Bombing School in Yorkshire. By 1918 he was serving with the Black Watch in France. Sadly, he was wounded 19 April and died 11 May, 1918.
